Welcome readers, to another set of travel blog posts - the ramblings of Bill, Beth, and Matthew. You may remember (and the posts are still on the web...) that in 2010 we took a 6-week trip to the Northwest, seeing many national parks and cities. In 2012 we took a 4-month trip to the Southwest, in our recently-purchased motor home. In all that traveling, we somehow neglected two states: Nebraska and Iowa! Matthew has visited 45 of the "lower 48" states. So, to accomplish his bucket list of visiting all 48, we still have to visit Nebraska, Iowa, and Vermont. On this year's trip we will get to Nebraska and Iowa, but in a roundabout way. Our route takes us through Kentucky, Tennessee, Arkansas, Missouri, Nebraska, Iowa, Illinois, and Indiana. We will be on the road for 4 weeks, in our RV. One thing that is different is that we have a new traveling companion, our 2 year old Jack Russell/Boston Terrier mix, Chuie.
With these new posts, Matthew will occasionally add this thoughts at the end. Here goes.
